DESIGN: Envisioned as "Sleeping Beauty’s Castle," the project was designed by Marcel Wanders, who orchestrated the semicircular structure so that every room resembles a "theatrical box" and has a view of the tropical gardens below. The prolific designer had a hand in everything—from the flooring to the lighting—and is furnishing the hotel with some of his original pieces. The loftlike residential units will be decorated in a palette of white, gold, brown, gray, blue and black.

Owners of the tower suites have access to a private lounge on the rooftop terrace overlooking the bay, the downtown skyline and the ocean; an on-call butler; as well as the option of custom-designing their suites with Wanders.
